ECONOMIC IDEAL – Moscow, Nov 21, IRNA – Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami said on Tuesday that Iran and Russia have had good progress in joint projects, as the two sides’ views and similar conditions have provided chances for them to strongly continue joint projects.
On the objectives behind his visit to Moscow, he added, “Both sides pursue their policies resolutely in the form of common goals set by the leaders of the two countries.”
Trilateral summit of Iran, India and Russia as well as trilateral meeting of Russian, Iran and Azerbaijan Republic will be held at the ministerial level on Wednesday, he said.
The two events are to discuss common issues surrounding two corridors, he said, noting, “We are trying to accelerate projects in both paths.”
North-South Corridor extends from India, Iran and Azerbaijan Republic to Russia and then to northern Europe and Scandinavia.
Once the North-South Corridor project is implemented, Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan Republic can benefit its advantages as the connector of the Asia and Europe continents.
