ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Managing Director of Tehran Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicraft office said on Thursday that some $73m handicrafts exported from Tehran province last year.
Parham Janfeshan said Tehran products were exported to Persian Gulf Littoral States, Turkey, European countries and South East Asia.
He added that most of the handicraft products included glass, Kilim, Zilou, stone and jewelry.
Accordingly, over 14,000 artists are working in 1,000 workshops in Tehran.
