TEHRAN (ecoideal)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Venezuelan counterpart Jorge Arreaza in a meeting in Tehran underlined the need to expand bilateral relations, specially in trade and economic fields.
During the meeting in the Iranian capital on Saturday, Zarif and Arreaza explored avenues for bolstering and reinvigorating mutual cooperation between the two countries' private sectors.
The two sides discussed a wide range of issues in the regional and international fields.
Tehran-Caracas economic cooperation, US interventions in the affairs of independent countries, the global oil market, and issues related to Latin America and the Middle East were among the topics discussed by the Iranian and Venezuelan foreign ministers.
In a relevant development in September 2017, Senior Iranian and Venezuelan officials in a meeting in Tehran underlined the need for developing mutual cooperation in different fields.
During the meeting in the Iranian capital, senior officials from both countries' private and government sectors discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation, specially in economic and trade fields.
The two sides focused on mechanism to develop economic and trade cooperation between Iran and Venezuela.
Iranian Ambassador to Caracas Mustafa A'laei who was also present in the meeting delivered speech in the meeting.
