Tehran (ECOIDEAL) – The chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Investors and Entrepreneurs of Anzali Free Zone Asghar Amani announced the increase of consultations and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan.
Mr. Amani, in company with a delegation of Iranian active companies in Anzali Free Zone, accompanied Iranian president Hassan Rouhani during his visit to Turkmenistan.
Expressing that during the visit the delegation on behalf of private sector of Anzali free zone introduced the benefits and investing chances in the only free zone in Caspian Sea, he said, “We held numerous meeting with the chairmen of public and private sectors of Turkmenistan and the main achievement of it was the inviting for bilateral visits from Turkmen side”.
About his talks with commerce minister of Turkmenistan, Asghar Amani said, “At the meeting, we discussed the benefits and exemptions that Anzali Free Zone Organization provided to foreign investors and Turkmen to invest in it”.
Stressing that the second important meeting of Iranian delegation was with the managers of Turkmenistan’s Avazeh Tourist Area, Mr. Amani added, “With the presence of the region`s public directors, we discussed about tourism development between the two regions given bilateral capacities and cooperation chances which are based on common interests and history. We had very good talks and Turkmen side showed its interest to continue the talks for applying the cooperation in the fields of tourism”.
