Tehran (ecoideal) – The CEO of Bank Melli Iran and the chief of state banks coordination council, Mohammad Reza Hosseinzadeh held talks with the CEO of Turkey’s Ziraat Bank, Hüseyn Aydın.
Mentioning the special capacities of Bank Melli Iran for offering currency services and developing banking relations with other countries, Hosseinzadeh insisted on expanding cooperation between the banks to facilitate Iran – Turkey commercial and tourist actions.
Pointing out to the meeting between presidents of the two countries, he said, “After the meeting between the presidents of Iran and Turkey, developing banking relations was planned to be an orient in bilateral cooperation”.
Ziraat Bank CEO and chief of Turkish banking association said, “Using joint bank cards can help exchanging currencies of two states and boost their trade”.
He also announced Ziraat Bank readiness to develop cooperation with Bank Melli Iran.
The two officials agreed to form technical committees to follow up affairs in the two banks.
