TEHRAN (ECOIDEAL)- Bulgarian Minister of Labor and Social Policy Biser Petkov voiced his country's interest to expand relations with Iran, specially on labor issues, including employment of Iran's skilled workers in the European country.
"My country is eager to cooperate with Iran on sharing experiences in technical education, employment of Iran's skilled workers, and the know-how and experiences of Iran in fields related to minimum wages, social security and labor unions," Petkov said in a meeting with Iranian counterpart Ali Rabiyee on the sidelines of the 107th session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva.
The Iranian labor minister, for his part, invited his Bulgarian counterpart to attend a conference on retirement that is going to be held in Iran in near future.
In relevant remarks in March 2017, Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri underlined that his country considers broadening of relations with Bulgaria as highly important.
"I hope to witness the expansion of Tehran-Sofia relations," Jahangiri said in a message to Bulgarian Prime Minister Ognyan Gerdzhikov.
He reiterated that the private sectors of the two countries have vast capacities for boosting trade exchanges.
