TEHRAN (ecoideal)- Iranian Government Spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobkaht announced on Monday plans to resist against the US sanctions after its withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal.
"We have adopted proper measures to defuse or decrease impacts of these sanctions," Nobakht told reporters on the sidelines of the 51st meeting of the headquarters for economy of resistance in Tehran on Monday.
"We have devised 56 plans and 200 projects to implement the Resistance Economy policies," he added.
In relevant remarks late last month, Nobakht announced that the country's officials are holding talks with their counterparts from different states to find ways to bypass the US sanctions after its withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal.
"In addition to the EU, we are improving relations with other countries, specially the neighbors," Nobakht told reporters in Tehran, referring to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's recent visit to India and his own trip to Thailand.
Asked about efforts to sell Iran's crude after re-imposition of the US sanctions, he said, "A major part of the oil is sold to India and China. We are also in talks with Europe to continue oil sales to them, and Iran's increased oil sales to them has even been under discussion with them to compensate any drop if some states decrease oil imports (from Iran)."
