Tehran (ECOIDEAL) – A syndicate, aimed at accessing Iran’s transportation system, will be formed with “Transmashholding” company’s participation.
CEO of Transmashholding, Kirill Valeryevich Lipa said, “Our talks with Russian Railways to form a joint transportation institute are going on”.
“The company has some plans for attending Iran’s market, including two projects for producing locomotive, a plan for making transit passenger wagon, as well as a plan in the area of operational models, related to transportation services which are under investigation and we hope it to be operational as soon as possible.”
Russia hopes to reach the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman in southern Iran by connecting its railway and roads to Iran.
