ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, Oct 13, IRNA – Iran's average non-oil exports to European countries rose 26.33% in value and 112.9% in weight in the first half of the current Iranian year (starting on March 21, 2018), despite US’ efforts to limit Iran’s oil exports.
With 6,942 tons of imports equal to $3,237,294 in the first half of Iranian year, Croatia’s imports from Iran has increased more than the other European countries (1,121% in weight and 557.99% in value) compared to the same period last year.
England shows a 246.47% growth in imports from Iran compared to the last year with 19,186 tons equal to $18,730,879.
Germany was also among the countries with the biggest rise in imports from Iran with 60,940 tons equal to $137,627,224, indicating a 205.6% growth in weight and 4.97% growth in value.
Petrochemical products, non-expandable polystyrene, steel bars, Iron ingots, and cast iron products were the top items exported to Europe.
Dates, saffron, watermelon, and apple juice was the foodstuff with the largest exports to Europe in the same period.
In the same period, Iran also exported 1,487 tons equivalent to $45,110,883 to the US which shows a 19.85% increase in weight and a 3.83% increase in value.
