ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, Oct 19, IRNA – In the first six months of this Iranian year (starts from March 21), $12.951 billion goods were exported to the neighboring countries, showing a growth of 27.96 percent in value compared to the same period last year, according to a statistical survey.
In the first half of this year, more than 56.644 million tons of non-oil goods were exported, showing 3.27 percent negative growth compared to the figure in the same period last year.
In the period, 16,220 tons of goods were imported to the country, showing minus 9.3 percent growth in weight compared to the last year's figure.
In terms of value, in the first six months of this year, more than $23 billion worth goods were exported from Iran, compared with $ 22.182 billion worth goods that were imported, showing a positive trade balance of $940 million in Iran's favor.

Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan, sharing the maritime border with Iran, are on the list of 100 countries to which Iranian exported goods are destined.
