ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zangeneh dismissed claims made by some Western media like Reuters that Russia has participated in selling Iranian oil.

Speaking to reporters on the sideline of a cabinet session on Wednesday, Zanganeh dismissed claims made by some Western media like Reuters that Russia has participated in the sale of Iranian oil in the wake of an oil exports sanctions to be imposed by US on Iran as part of the November 5th.
He stressed that these claims are untrue.
Elaborating on petrochemical companies’ engagement in currency market, he said there is no problem in provision of currencies by these companies.
Referring to Iran’s decision to offer its oil on domestic stocks market, Zangeneh said so far 280,000 barrels of oil have been sold on the market and the rest is expected to be offered soon.
