ECONOMIC IDEAL – Beijing, Nov 17, IRNA – Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) referred to the Islamic Republic of Iran as a very important member of the organization, said Iran's progress in the field of aerospace is laudable.
Professor Li Xinjun in an interview with the Islamic Republic News agency (IRNA) in Beijing said that it is important to cooperate with members of the organization, especially with Iran as one of its most active members.
Pointing out that “we want to have relations based on mutual interests with Iran”, he stressed that “if members are supported by governments, naturally we can achieve more developments in the direction of space programs and we hope that Iran will also enjoy such conditions”.
The Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization affirmed that many members of the organization have very extensive exchanges with each other and Iran is no exception and benefit from the interests of these relations.
Li Xinjun described cooperation based on respect and mutual interests among all members, including Iran, as important, and said ‘we are looking to achieve a win-win situation for all members, including Tehran’.
In another part of his remarks, pointing to the expansion of relations between the members, he said, “we will extract the resources of cooperation and share with each other and in science and space industries such cooperation is important for all.”
