ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, Nov 20, IRNA – Evaluation of seven-month performance of Iran's foreign trade shows that the mining chain and mining industry in the meantime has exported $5 billion and $810 million of all kinds of products that grew 6 % compared to last year.
Steel represents a total of 48 percent of the value of the chain exports. The seven-month performance indicates exports of five million and 860,000 tons of steel at a value of $ 2 billion and $780 million.
According to the report, copper accounted for the export of $492 million dollars, eight percent of the chain exports, and cement share was 6 percent.
The interesting point in this statistic is nearly 14-fold rise in iron concentrate exports by the mid-October compared with the same period last year and 257-million-dollar revenue.
