ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, Dec 1, IRNA – Chairman of the Ivory Coast’s Muslim Traders Society emphasized the collaboration between Iranian and Ivorian traders and expressed readiness to engage in joint economic programs.
In a meeting with Iran's ambassador to Abidjan Mansour Shakib-Mehr, Mamadou Doumbia urged the two country's tradespersons to collaborate, emphasizing the potentials of traders for strengthening relations between Iran and Ivory Coast.
Shakib-Mehr, for his part, stressed the necessity for traders to understand the two country’s capacities by taking part in economic events
He invited the Ivorian Muslim traders to join the Iran Expo exhibition to be held in Ivorian capital city of Abidjan.
Ivory Coast is the world’s biggest cocoa producer and imports biscuits, motor oil, tomato paste, tile, and ethanol from Iran.
