TEHRAN (ecoideal)- A large visiting scientific delegation from 21 European counties is slated to arrive in Tehran on Sunday.
The 37-member delegation comprising experts from 21 European countries will arrive in the Iranian capital today for a three-day visit to review the development of mutual cooperation between Tehran and Seoul.
The EU delegation will attend two separate meetings, including Iran-EU joint working group meeting and a two-day educational workshop.
The two sides will discuss the possibility of conducting joint projects and teacher/student transfer programs during the meetings.
The joint scientific and academic cooperation meeting between Iran and the EU will be hosted by University of Tehran (UT).
The joint cooperation meeting will be held on July 3 and a workshop of specialized meetings on cooperation between the two sides is slated for July 4.
The EU delegation will also pay a visit to Center for European Studies at Kharazmi University.
In relevant remarks in late December, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani underlined the need for the further expansion of ties and cooperation between Tehran and the European states after implementation of the last year nuclear deal.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes development of cooperation with the EU, including Romania, in all fields," President Rouhani said.
