ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, February 3, IRNA – The director of Iranian Space Research Center (ISRC) says that the policies governing the country's space program’s focus only on technology development have been orientated towards the entire space chain which will lead to economic authority.
Hossein Samimi said on Sunday at the ceremony to commemorate the National Space Technology Day, which was held at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (ICT), ‘Iran's space industry is undoubtedly the biggest and most progressive achievement of the Islamic Revolution. We celebrate the National Space Technology Day while new approaches have entered to the literature of the field.’
‘The space- centered, the liberation of space data, the private satellite operator, and such concepts as when we put them together, we find that the policies governing the country's space program’s focus only on technology development have been orientated towards the entire country's spatial chain which will lead to economic authority.’
February 3th, the National Space Technology Day is the anniversary of the successful launch of Omid (Hope) satellite in 2008 which named the Islamic Republic of Iran among the countries with the ability to launch satellites.
