ECONOMIC IDEAL – Hamedan, Feb 5, IRNA – Iran's First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said the Islamic Republic is the most liberal country in the Middle East and this is a fact which has been proven to the whole world.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the development plan of “Ferrosilicon West Pars Company” in Malayer in west of the country on Tuesday, the ranking official said, ‘The ideals of the Revolution which still seem fresh for the young generation have always been held as great for the Iranian nation.”
He stressed that Iranian people achieved independence, freedom and justice by the victory of the revolution, adding that ‘We should be proud of the Islamic Revolution because thanks to it, people were able to govern their destiny.’
Jahangir referred to the position of Iran in present international conditions and further noted, “The time of Revolution’s celebrations which is underway in the country is an opportunity to pass on all the honors and achievements of the revolution for the younger generation and the people.
The First Vice-President declared, ‘By Revolution, we were seeking justice. Although some foreign media insist on saying that the situation of the Iranian nation is now worse than before, I, relying on credible indicators say that the gap between the poor and the rich has sharply narrowed which is sign of country's moving closer towards justice.”
On the eve of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, four solar power plants, two industrial units of Ferrosilicon, a drug factory and a steel factory in Hamadan province went on stream by Jahangiri.
