ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – The new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Czech Republic Akbar Aminian emphasized his priority on developing the two countries' cooperation and mutual relations as focusing on the economy, especially industry, petrochemicals, machine tools, drilling machines, drugs and nanotechnology.
Referring to the 90-year history of relations between Tehran and Prague, Iranian diplomat said that the Czech Republic is enjoying good market for some Iranian products such as petrochemicals, fertilizers, tar, furniture, textiles and agricultural products.
He noted that Iran's President Hassan Rouhani met with some ambassadors departing their missions on Sunday and regarding the current situation in home and the region, stressed on the importance of developing economic activities.
Aminian highlighted, ‘In the current situation, it is important to solve the problem of financial and banking transactions, which, of course, some ways to solve them have been considered.’
“In the field of tourism and crafts, the two countries can work together. The most important issue in the relations between Iran and the Czech Republic is that there is no negative record of Czechs in the minds of Iranians regarding political and cultural issues, so that the effects of these relations can be seen in the interest of the two countries in expanding ties,” the official reiterated.
