TEHRAN (ECOIDEAL)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni in a meeting in Rome on Wednesday discussed ways of broadening mutual cooperation.
During the meeting in the Italian capital today, Zarif and Gentiloni explored avenues for bolstering and reinvigorating bilateral relations.
The two sides also reviewed regional and international relations.
Zarif voiced Iran’s interest in expansion of economic cooperation with Italy.
Zarif arrived in Rome from Berlin on Wednesday morning. The Iranian foreign minister conferred with Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano and President of the Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini on key regional and international issues and bilateral relations.
