ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA- The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), pointing out that the Bushehr power plant needs $89 million to supply fuel and spare parts, said that this is Iran’s expectation that the buyers buy 20% of the electricity produced by Bushehr power plant at an export price and 80% at state-proposed price.
Ali Akbar Salehi highlighted, ‘In the 40 years before, all elements were provided and we have the best human resources and other elements but we could not manage as deserving of the system. We have problems in managing, but, as the Supreme Leader has said, this is a reformable revolution.”
The head of the Atomic Energy Agency said that after the revolution, despite the pressures and limitations, more than 380,000 kilometers of gas pipelines were installed. Now more than 90% of people have access to gas as they have access to water.
Referring to the situation in some Persian Gulf states, he said constructing sky scrapers and building assembly industries does not mean progress.
