ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, April 17, IRNA – Iran's Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Reza Rahmani called for improvement of cooperation between Iran and Bangladesh in all fields.
Iran and Bangladesh can reach the targeted goal of one billion dollars in their bilateral trade by using their capacities, Rahmani said.
He made the remarks in a ceremony held to celebrate Bangladesh Independence Day here on Wednesday.
The minister called for improvement of cooperation between Iran and Bangladesh in all fields including infrastructure, house construction, agriculture, food staff, tourism, medical and health industry, sport and academics.
He expressed the hope that the six rounds of Iran and Bangladesh's joint commission is held in this Iranian calendar year (started March 21).
The minister pointed to Iran's 439 billion dollars Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and noted that the Iranian economy can resist the foreign pressures and has a great deal of capacities.
