ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, April 27, IRNA – Member of Majlis Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said on Saturday that Tehran kept on oil exports in the current Iranian year on routine procedure.
He made the remarks in an interview with IRNA.
The Iranian lawmaker said that the Americans have made every effort to minimize Iran's oil exports, but, the reality is that they will fail to do so, because Iran exports more than one-and-a half-million barrels of oil and condensates.
On 22 April, Trump administration took its last step to zero Iran's oil exports. The White House announced that since May 2, it will no longer extend the waivers for countries willing to buy Iranian oil.
According to Western media, Pompeo claimed that the US has been given assurances by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to pump extra oil to minimize impact of what he said vacum of Iranian oil from the market.
‘We have our own customers,’ Naqavi Hosseini added, noting that Iran's oil is not sanctionable.
He said that because of Iran's oil is one of the best quality Middle Eastern oil, and many countries need Iran's oil and they are traditional customers of Iranian oil.
Naqavi Hosseini said: ‘May be they can disturb transport, but, export of Iran's oil certainly will not stop, so that the US propaganda and hue and cry will not be heeded by other countries.’
‘It is impossible for the “enemies of the Islamic Revolution and Iranian people” to drive Iran’s oil exports down to zero,’ he said.
