ECONOMIC IDEAL – Beijing, April 30, IRNA – The Iranian ambassador to China highlighted on Tuesday the role of Iranian Chamber of Commerce in the Asian country as a commercial liaison at a time when Tehran is seeking to consolidate bilateral business ties.
“Given the current special situation as well as recent developments in Iran-China relations, the presence of a coherent Iranian Chamber of Commerce in China is more important than ever,” Iranian envoy Mohammad Keshavarz-Zadeh said while addressing a group of Iranian businessmen residing in China.
President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in China Hossein Safari-Nejad stressed the important work of the chamber in developing bilateral ties between Tehran and Beijing.
Iranian Chamber of Commerce in Beijing started its activities since 2008 and in 2015 along with Iranian Chambers of Commerce in Shanghai and Guangzhou, formed the Iranian Chamber of Commerce across the east Asian country.
Iran seeks to consolidate its position as one of the important transit hubs along the New Silk Road that connects China with large parts of the world.
