ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, April 30, IRNA – Iran’s consumer price inflation rate in the 12 months ending in the Iranian calendar month of Farvardin (April 20) stood at 30.6%, according to a report on Tuesday by Statistical Center of Iran.
The western province of Kordestan had an inflation rate of 36.5% during the mentioned period to register the heaviest inflation rate in the country, while the central province of Kerman had the lowest inflation rate in the country with a 25.4% consumer price inflation rate in the one-year period under study.
The report also said that Iran’s year-on-year consumer price inflation rate in the calendar month of Farvardin stood at 51.4%.
