In an interview with ISNA, Bijani pointed to international attempts by Securities and Exchange Organization, saying, “Recently, we hosted a 10-member delegation of high- ranking Iraqi officials which was unprecedented in the level and number of the members”.
Speaking of the topics discussed during the joint meetings with the delegation, he said, “Two working groups will be formed: one of them is from the Iranian capital market and another one is from the Iraqi side. They will work on mutual projects and prepare them to be operationalized during a visit of Iranian delegation to Iraq in the next month”.
“It will be a very important event for capital markets of the both sides and given the relationship between the two countries it can lead to positive results in the markets,” he added.
