ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran, April 7, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization Hamid Zadboum said on Tuesday that consultations with Foreign Ministry, private sector and Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade are underway to reactivate trade offices abroad and use the sectors’ capacities in the field of foreign trade.
Following an order issued by the minister of industry, mine and trade last year and in order to use capacities of affiliated companies overseas to help promote trade in cooperation with Foreign Ministry, private sector and Chamber of Commerce, their capacities were reviewed in a meeting attended by the representatives of the affiliated institutes of the ministry.
“Since we face sanctions and banking restrictions now, most of the trade affairs in other countries should be conducted in person,” he said, noting that the offices outside the country are needed to help private sector in doing foreign trade affairs in times of sanctions.
Zadboum further noted that facilities of the state institutes, private sector and joint chambers in other countries, especially neighboring states, will be discussed in next sessions.
