ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran (ISNA) – During weekdays ending up to July 9, 2020, while over 832,078 MT of commodities worth over 1,404 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced growths of 30 and 54 percent, respectively.
According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 405,221 MT of various products worth close to 859 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, 299,993 MT of steel, 6,160 MT of copper, 5,150 MT of aluminum, 150 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 18 MT of precious metal concentrates as well as 93,750 MT of zinc dust were traded by customers.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 424,856 MT of different commodities with the total value of 560 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, 125,000 MT of VB feed stock, 121,556 MT of bitumen, 78,658 MT of polymer products, 43,360 MT of chemical products, 1,615 MT of insulation, 38,000 MT of lube cut oil, 50 MT of argon, 2,168 MT of base oil, 2,000 MT of slaps waxes as well as 13,175 MT of sulfur were traded.
Furthermore, 2,000 MT of commodities were traded on the IME’s side market.
It is worth noting that 1,300 kg of saffron was trade on the agricultural trading floor of the IME.
