ECONOMIC IDEAL – Tehran (ISNA) – At the end of July 2020, different trading floors of the Iran Mercantile Exchange witnessed trading of more than 2,608,406 tonnes of commodities worth over 4,669 million USD.
According to the report by the IME’s International Affairs and PR, during the last month, the oil and petrochemical trading floor of the IME played host to trading of 1,729,295 MT of commodities worth more than 2,346 million USD.
On this trading floor, more than 434,379 MT of bitumen, 292,014 MT of polymer products and 189,902 MT of chemical products, 590,000 MT of VB feed stock, 134,500 MT of lube cut oil, 72,095 MT of sulfur, 4,585 MT of insulation, 3,000 MT of slaps waxes, 100 MT of argon as well as 8,720 MT of oil were traded by customers.
The metal and mineral trading floor witnessed trading over 873,768 MT of commodities worth more than 2,310 million USD.
On this trading floor 738,319 MT of steel, 24,565 MT of copper, 530 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 54 MT of precious metals concentrates, 94,300 MT of zinc, 200 MT of lead ingot, 16,000 MT of aluminum as well as 30 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.
Furthermore, in agricultural trading floor of the IME more than 1,250 kg of saffron was traded by the customers.
The side market of the IME experienced trading of 300 MT of PDA TAR, a total of 9,950 empty barrels, 4,260 MT of tomato paste, 53 MT of used locomotive engine oil, 606 MT of metal scrape as well as 500 MT of Ferrosilicon.
