Tehran (ecoideal) – The volume of trade exchanges between Iran and North Caucasus has reached to more than $41 million during the first nine months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Nov. 21).
Russian minister for North Caucasus affairs Lev Kuznetsov said that the region’s export to Iran was about $9 million and the rest was the imports from Iran to North Caucasus.
“We should expand the joint educational and cultural programs which led to form the tourism industry in both countries,” he added.
“We have already discussed the creation of a free trade zone between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran which is crucial for the strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries,” the Russian official went on to say.
